Ceris Thomas

Ceris Thomas is a Director/Choreographer, Performing Artist and Educator.

She holds a Performance Diploma – Voice Major, (Red Deer College), an Honours BFA and a BEd in Dance & Music, (York University), and a Masters of Education, (York University). She currently teaches High School Drama, Dance and Vocal Music. She enjoys following her passion for puppetry as a builder and performer.

Ceris has worked and travelled across the country with such companies as:

She has served on several boards and committees within the field of arts and education, including the Board for LCP (London Community Players), CODE, (Council of Ontario Dance and Drama Educators). She holds membership with PofA, (Puppeteers of America), AoC, (Art of Combat) and IOSP, (the International Order of the Sword & Pen).

As a theatre artist her favourite roles have included Director/Choreographer for The GondoliersOklahoma!, Henry V, Follies and The Three Musketeers, Choreographer for Beauty and the Beast, Eliza in My Fair Lady, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, The Chaperone in Drowsy Chaperone, Kate in Shrew’d!, and Tessa in The Gondoliers.
